noneSpecial Strengths

  • Biology majors are often involved in paid summer internships in academic and industrial laboratories.
  • Recent graduates are employed by local schools and the Ohio EPA.
  • Some biology majors are currently completing their medical education (we can put you in touch with them so that they can share their Central State University experience with you).
  • Other biology majors are pursuing graduate study.
  • Faculty members have extensive professional experience in the biological sciences and can offer students in-depth learning experiences.
  • All members of the faculty hold the Ph.D. degree from such schools as the University of Cincinnati, University of Florida, and The University of Dayton.
  • In the classroom, or during office hours, our approach to learning is the same: a one-on-one relationship with each student.
  • More importantly, our faculty serve as role models to all students.
