Lennard Moses
Lennard V. Moses is an associate professor of percussion and world music at Central State University. He holds the M.M. in Percussion Performance (Western/Non-Western) from Northern Illinois University and the B. S. in Music Education from Central State University. Mr. Moses has professional performng experience in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. He has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and on BBC television in London, England, the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in St. Louis, with Sankofa, Africa in the New World Ensemble, and the WITCO Desperadoes of Trinidad and Tobago. He also serves as guest artist, panelist, lecturer,and clinician. He composed the theme music for the television special "Alex Haley: An American Hero." A number of his compositions have been published by Ludwig MusicPublishing Co., and he has written for the journal Percussive Notes Research Edition.
