William Henry Caldwell
William Henry Caldwell is an associate professor of vocal and choral music at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He is the conductor of the Central State University Chorus, the director of the Paul Robeson Cultural and Performing Arts Center, and has served as the chair of the Department of Music. Mr. Caldwell holds a master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a magna cum laude graduate of Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is completing a doctoral degree at the University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music and also has studied at The Ohio State University. Mr. Caldwell has performed as a recitalist and baritone soloist throughout the country. He made his Cincinnati Pops Orchestra debut in the role of Cokey Lou in George Gershwin's one act opera Blue Monday which was
recorded on the Telarc International label. Mr. Caldwell has studied in Europe with Virginia Pleasants (London, England) and Hugue Cuenod (Vevey, Switzerland).
