The Computer Science program at Central State University
is accredited by; Computer Science Accreditation Commission (CSAC)
of the Accreditation Board for En gineering and Technology, INC
(ABET). ABET is also a member of the Association of
Specialized and Professional Accreditors and the Council of Quality
Assurance in International Education.
The Department of Computer Science offers a 4-year program leading to
Bachelor of Science degrees in:
Computer Science (CS)
Computer Information Systems (CIS)
Students who graduate with a degree in CS are highly
qualified in:

* Web-based programming
* Software engineering
Major industry, government agencies, and graduate
schools also actively seek these students. The Department has
an enviable record of placing its graduates in positions of employment

Graduating CSC and CIS students are highly qualified

* Systems analysis
* Web page design
* Database systems
* Information analysis

government agencies.
